Getting started

How to connect a NAS or network share

  1. 01

    Pick a protocol

Open Add a Source and choose SMB, NFS, WebDAV or FTP, whichever your NAS or computer exposes. Most NAS devices support SMB out of the box.
  2. 02

    Enter the address and credentials

Type the host name or IP address of the share and sign in with the user you use on the NAS. Credentials are stored securely on your device.
  3. 03

    Browse your folders

Riveo shows the folders and video files on the share. Open a folder and play any supported file directly.
  4. 04

    Use it on every screen

Add the same share on Apple TV or Android TV, or on Apple devices let compatible app data sync through your private iCloud.

Does Riveo work with a Synology or QNAP NAS? +
